The winter season in La Rosière is already coming to an end this weekend.

Entre activités en famille et activités sportives, nous ne nous sommes pas ennuyé ces derniers mois

Here’s a recap of what happened this winter (2025–2026) in La Rosière!

Weekly events

The week always kicked off with the famous welcome drinks reception on Sunday. A chance to socialise, with free mulled wine and hot chocolate, to get to know the resort and find out about the week’s activities. This was also when this winter’s new initiative kicked off: YouTuber for a week. A unique activity in La Rosière, which allowed you to borrow a GoPro and learn how to edit videos!

Every Tuesday, you could take part in the Rosière Fun Race, a 2.6 km run in the heart of the resort, perfect for athletes as well as spectators, with a great atmosphere guaranteed and toasted marshmallows for young and old alike.

Wednesday was children’s day: with the Children’s Ball and the Village des Jeux en Folie, it was a chance for the little ones to have fun and for the grown-ups to rediscover their inner child. This was followed by the hockey match, the highlight of the week!

There were also events organised in partnership with local businesses and organisations: ski touring at sunrise, snowshoe biathlon, tobogganing, a torchlight descent and a demonstration by the instructors, Savoyard wine tastings, boot-fitting workshops, aperitifs, guided tours, concerts and DJ sets… there was something for everyone.

Highlights throughout the season:

The season got off to a great start with Christmas and New Year’s Day: from parades with elves and Father Christmas arriving on a snow groomer to photo opportunities on a magical throne and a retro DJ, this year’s winter holidays really took us by surprise (in the best possible way)!

We were also fortunate enough to organise the Trail Blanc, a 5, 10 and 20km race, at the heart of La Rosière resort and ski area. The 150 runners showed great courage in braving the winter cold, although the sun’s rays made an appearance just at the right moment for the start!

The radio station Nostalgie then set up shop in the tourist office, a series of performances captivated the audience at the Salle Jean Arpin, and we had the honour of hosting the launch of Montagne 360, an initiative by France TV.

And then, how could you miss the must-attend marketing event for tourism professionals: Destination Data. A new event that looks set to be a real highlight in the years to come! With conferences, workshops and networking opportunities, it’s a time for in-depth discussion and collaboration among tourism professionals.

Finally, a number of events across the ski area provided the highlights of our winter: this year, La Rosière hosted the Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) 4* and 3* as well as the Freeride World Tour Junior on the north face of Montvalezan. We were also lucky enough to see the Sundown Bank Slalom and the Bronzette Cup take place on our slopes – two iconic and festive occasions!

La Rosière in the media:

La Rosière has been in the spotlight this winter! Media outlets such as Le Parisien, RevolutionR, Explore Savoie, l’Equipe Mag and even TFOU TV have covered the events, the sun-drenched slopes of La Rosière and the local culinary specialities, but above all, they have highlighted the resort’s unique ability to offer a truly extraordinary experience by discovering Italian culture, just a ski lift away.

Not to mention the La Rosière ESF, which caught the eye of French television. With almost 1 million views and 50,000 likes, the Pioupiou’s Olympic prank video was broadcast on the french TV.

End of season:

Thank you all for this season, because without you – our holidaymakers, business owners, artists and event organisers, property owners and local residents, and the team at the tourist office – La Rosière would not be what it is today!

So thank you all! And we’ll see you this summer to discover the mountains in a different way, or next winter to hit the slopes!
