Super Cleaners Day in La Rosière: a collective morning to care for the mountains
At the start of the morning, participants gathered for a welcome session and briefing with Mountain Riders, before splitting into several groups across different areas of the resort. A simple and practical way to take action together and help protect the mountains.
A collective effort across the resort
Locals, ski area staff, the municipality of Montvalezan and many other participants all took part in this clean-up operation.
Everyone came together with the same goal: to care for the mountains and help keep La Rosière clean and welcoming.
320 kg of waste collected
Throughout the morning, the groups covered different sectors to collect the waste left behind after the season. In total, 320 kg of waste was collected and sorted.
This can be compared with the 422 kg collected last year. It is an encouraging change, showing the value of this kind of action while also reminding us why it remains necessary.
Another way of caring for the mountains
This day is also a reminder that a mountain destination depends on the commitment of the people who live there, work there and spend time there.
Caring for the mountains does not rely on one dedicated clean-up day alone. It is also everyone’s responsibility, through simple habits and ongoing attention to the area throughout the year.
A big thank you to everyone who took part in this edition of Super Cleaners Day in La Rosière.
