A label for the tourism of the future

Since 2016, La Rosière Tourist Office has been committed to a quality initiative recognised by the Qualité Tourisme label.

This initiative is now evolving with the Destination of Excellence framework, led by Atout France, which incorporates broader criteria.

 

A broader framework

Destination of Excellence is now based on two complementary pillars: a ‘quality’ pillar, focused on hospitality and services, and an ‘eco-responsible’ pillar (a pillar not present in the Qualité Tourisme label), incorporating criteria related to environmental impacts and sustainable practices. This new framework also aims to strengthen the role of the Tourist Office in driving a quality and responsible approach across the destination.

  • A trilingual website, accessible 24 hours a day
  • Information available outside opening hours

Providing a welcoming environment

  • An accessible reception area with a children’s zone and a relaxation area
  • Services available: Wi-Fi, information materials, waiting area, toilets

Monitoring and improving quality

  • Collection of feedback, suggestions and complaints
  • Responses provided within 72 hours
  • Monitoring of satisfaction levels

A collective approach

This development is part of a process of continuous improvement driven by the Tourist Office and all stakeholders in the region. In La Rosière, the customer experience is built on the complementary services offered by accommodation providers, restaurants, shops and activity providers, as well as local artisans, but also thanks to the local people, who contribute together to the quality of the welcome and the activities on offer at the destination, throughout the seasons.
