Mountain bike is accessible to everyone, whatever your age, your level and your desires…
A FEW MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE IDEAS
Whether you are on a cross-country bike (XCountry) or electric mountain bike, you can explore the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass along trail No.8, which goes past the Fort de La Redoute Ruinée (accessible using the Roches Noires chairlift) or go on a ride around the commune’s hamlets and chapels on the village trail.
You could also go a bit further afield on the Moulins trail, or the more challenging Suée trail, where you will pedal past the high-altitude chalets in Putétruit, Plan Pigeux and Le Vaz
DOWNHILL MOUNTAIN BIKING (DH)
La Rosière’s Bike Zone can be accessed using the Roches Noires (open every day) and offers trails for different levels of rider, from beginner to expert.
Explore the high-altitude trails with their panoramic views and embark on an exciting descent through the magnificent Ecudets forest (1,200m downhill from Roches Noires)
Take advantage of the free shuttle bus linking Bourg Saint-Maurice to the Col du Petit Saint-Bernard with the La Rosière lift pass (day, week, season).
