Saint Bernard dogs gathering

The Fête des Clarines features a parade of floats, folk groups, traditional Savoyard music and plenty of other activities.

These guard and rescue dogs have come to play an important role in the culture and heritage of La Rosière and the surrounding area. Our proximity to the Petit-Saint-Bernard Pass, just a few kilometres away, reinforces this status. Situated in Savoie, in the hills above Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the Petit-Saint-Bernard Pass marks the border between France and Italy.
