Cycling race – Challenge Simon Atkinson
About
Organized in partnership with the ESF in La Rosière, this timed climb connects Séez to the Place des Eucherts. The event is open to cyclists aged 14 and older who hold a valid FFC license, or those aged 16 and older upon presentation of a medical certificate stating there are no contraindications to participating in competitive cycling.
At the finish line, participants will be welcomed at the heart of the Fête des Clarines, in a friendly and festive atmosphere, with refreshments, live music, and cheers from the crowd. Official results will be posted on the resort’s website.
Registration online or on-site: €10. All registration fees will be donated to the Médipôle de Savoie to support palliative care and assistance for patients and their loved ones.

- REGULATIONS AND PRACTICAL MODALITIES:
. The Simon Atkinson Challenge is organized by the La Rosière Tourist Office on Sunday, August 03, 2025.
. Registration is on site from 8.30 am and is closed 15 minutes before departure.
. The registration fee is at least € 10, the profits will be donated to the Médipôle de Savoie which fight againt cancer.
. Possibility to take part in the ascent without bib and timing. In hat case, electric bikes are allowed.
. The departure will be grouped.
. The riders must respect the rules of the road under penalty of disqualification.
. Wearing a helmet is mandatory.
- The competitor agrees to justify his physical aptitude to achieve the climb cyclist (medical certificate dating less than one year or license)
- Young people under the age of 18 must be dismissed at the FFC and supervised by a club or be in possession of a parental authorization.
The minimum age required to participate is 14 years old.
. The organization will provide a leading car and end of race to materialize and secure the event and a pair of rescuers in quad to intervene as soon as possible in case of problems.
. The organization will make all necessary arrangements for the safety and organization of this event (radio stations, first-aid workers, station doctors warned ...)
. The course is marked by white typo signs on a pink background, signalers will be present at each intersection to guide runners.
. A ranking will be made according to the attached rules:
1st, 2nd and 3rd scratch
1st, 2nd and 3rd woman scratch
