White West Festival

When the mountains meet the Wild West
To end the winter season in style, La Rosière takes on the feel of the Great American West! For four days, the White West Festival combines spring skiing, western culture, music and entertainment for an original experience in the heart of the Alps.

A real western village
Place des Eucherts is transformed into a Western Village with around twenty exhibitors, stands, activities and discoveries around this universe. Horses in the snow, equestrian demonstrations, introductions to line dancing and a country atmosphere immerse young and old in the spirit of the Wild West.

The Dance Hall, the heart of the party
When the slopes close, head to the big top of the Dance Hall! Concerts, après-ski, country evenings and DJs take over to prolong the days in a festive atmosphere. Whether you know how to dance or not, everyone is invited to join in the dance.

Four days of festival not to be missed

Thursday – The West settles
Opening of the Western Village and first events to officially launch the festival.

Friday – Enter the universe
Introduction to line dancing, parade of riders, conferences and screenings, including the French premiere of the film Rescued Hearts. The day ends with a big country evening.

Saturday – The big day of the White West
Western looks competition, skijoring demonstrations, entertainment with horses, torches, music and light. In the evening, it's time for the big country ball, followed by a DJ for dancing until the end of the night.

Sunday – One last light
Wake up at sunrise with the Sunrise Ride, then return to the Western Village for the last activities and initiations. A western brunch and a closing concert round off the festival.

One last opportunity to enjoy skiing
Between two activities, enjoy the snow-covered slopes, the lengthening days and the terraces in the sun. The White West Festival is also an opportunity to savor the last pleasures of winter before putting away the skis!
