The Villages of Montvalezan: Open Chapels – Self-Guided Visits
About
This summer, discover the rich heritage of Montvalezan through the exceptional opening of 12 village chapels spread across the commune.
Every Thursday, from 9 July to 20 August, between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, dedicated volunteers will welcome you and share the history, anecdotes and architectural features of these unique places of worship.
Organised with the support of FACIM and local volunteers, this initiative offers a wonderful opportunity to explore a little-known part of the region's heritage. Wander through the charming mountain villages, admire their traditional architecture and enjoy a peaceful cultural experience.
