Cycling climb PARADiS – Séez > La Rosière Golf
About
The Montée Cyclo Séez – Paradis features a spectacular finish at the Golf de La Rosière, in front of the Paradis restaurant, at an altitude of nearly 2,000 metres. This timed climb, covering 18 km with 1,200 metres of elevation gain, follows an iconic route through the region, previously featured in the 2018 Tour de France and the Tour de l’Avenir.
After setting off from Séez, participants will pass through several charming villages before tackling the most demanding sections of the climb, with gradients exceeding 10%. At the finish line, refreshments and a friendly atmosphere will await the riders in an exceptional setting with views of the peaks. Open to participants aged 16 and over. A valid sports licence or proof of eligibility is required in accordance with current regulations.

- RULES AND PRACTICAL DETAILS:
. La Rosière's cycle rides are organised by the Tourist Office during the summer season.
. Registrations are made on site 30 minutes before the announced time and are closed 5 minutes before the start. So registration from 5.30pm for a 6pm start! At 8.30 am for the morning climbs
. The registration fee is 5€ and includes Organisation and race fees + refreshments at the finish
. The start will be grouped.
. The runners will have to respect the highway code or they will be disqualified.
. Helmets must be worn.
- Competitors must prove that they are physically fit for the climb (medical certificate less than one year old or licence).
- Young people under 18 years of age must be licensed by the FFC and supervised by a club or be in possession of a parental authorization.
The minimum age required to participate is 14 years.
. The organisation will provide a lead car and a finish car to secure the event as well as a pair of first aiders on a quad in order to intervene as quickly as possible in case of a problem.
. The organisation will take all the necessary measures for the safety and organisation of this event (radios, first aiders, doctors of the station warned...)
. The course will be marked with white signs on a pink background, and marshals will be present at each intersection to direct the runners.
. A classification will be made according to the attached rules:
1st, 2nd and 3rd men scratch
