We’re back on the slopes! Rediscover the feeling of those first turns, breathe in the crisp mountain air and enjoy the simple pleasure of clicking into your skis again.
12 December marks the official start of the winter season in La Rosière: a day to get back on the mountain and make your first tracks of the season.
When La Rosière turns pink
As the day draws to a close, the atmosphere changes. At around 4:30pm, the sun begins to set and its final rays bathe the snow and surrounding peaks in shades of pink.
The perfect backdrop to extend your first day on the slopes and kick off the Grand Opening celebrations.
The Grand Opening, live
The celebrations continue on the snow front in La Rosière Centre with an open-air evening of live music.
A DJ, singer, percussionist and saxophonist take to the stage to celebrate the return of winter. Music, lights and a festive atmosphere come together for the first big night of the season.
