Montées Cyclo – Séez – La Rosière – Col du Petit Saint-Bernard

Want to ride along the same path as the winners of the Tour de France 2018?
The Séez-la Rosière cycle climb is back this summer!

A demanding climb that passes through authentic villages and offers exceptional views, for an exceptional edition: Séez - La Rosière - Col du Petit Saint-Bernard.
Two departures for this unique edition:
- from Séez (nursery school car park): 24 Kms - 1288m D+.
- from La Rosière (Tourist Office centre): 8 Kms - 338m D+.
The finish will be at the border of the pass at the Bar de Lancebranlette.

PROGRAMME :
- From 5.30pm to 5.55pm: Registration and collection of race numbers (licence or certificate and helmet compulsory, liability waiver if applicable) from 8.30am to 9am for the morning rides.
- 6.00 pm: Start of the Timed Cycling Climb
- Provisioning in partnership with BIOCOOP Bourg Saint Maurice
- 7.45 pm: Prize-giving ceremony

Welcome details :
RULES AND PRACTICAL DETAILS :
. La Rosière's cycle rides are organised by the Tourist Office during the summer season.
. Registrations are made on site 30 minutes before the announced time and are closed 5 minutes before the start. So registration from 5.30pm for a 6pm start! At 8.30 am for the morning climbs
. The registration fee is 5€ and includes Organisation and race fees + refreshments at the finish
. The start will be grouped.
. The runners will have to respect the highway code or they will be disqualified.
. Helmets must be worn.
- Competitors must prove that they are physically fit for the climb (medical certificate less than one year old or licence).
- Young people under 18 years of age must be licensed by the FFC and supervised by a club or be in possession of a parental authorization.
The minimum age required to participate is 14 years.
. The organisation will provide a lead car and a finish car to secure the event as well as a pair of first aiders on a quad in order to intervene as quickly as possible in case of a problem.
. The organisation will take all the necessary measures for the safety and organisation of this event (radios, first aiders, doctors of the station warned...)
. The course will be marked with white signs on a pink background, and marshals will be present at each intersection to direct the runners.
. A classification will be made according to the attached rules:
1st, 2nd and 3rd men scratch
1st, 2nd and 3rd women scratch
