Ambassadors

La Rosière supports 2 athletes in Trail!

LA ROSIÈRE, LAND OF TRAILS

Our 2 trail ambassadors, Fabien Antolinos and Arthur Joyeux Bouillon regularly run together on the trails of La Rosière. In particular, they organised together the “Défi Mont Blanc” which consisted of a round trip to the summit of Mont Blanc from La Rosière, by a route that is a feast for the eyes.
On Monday 13 July 2020, at 7pm, they left La Rosière for this great challenge! They passed by the Col du Petit Saint Bernard, the Col des Chavannes, the Combal lake and then they went up to the Gonella refuge by the Glacier du Miage where assistance was waiting for them with mountaineering gear. After this short break, they took the direction of the Piton des Italiens, to arrive at the summit of Mont Blanc (4810m) at around 6am. They took the same route on the way back.
In total, the route was 92km for 6000m of D +/- with a large part of the climb at high altitude. For this first time, they achieved this performance in 20h and 5min!

The GPX track of their route is available to all on the Trace de Trail website

FABIEN ANTOLINOS

Fabien is a French athlete born in 1977 in Bron (Rhône) and a renowned trail ambassador!
