new in winter

Several New Features at La Rosière!

Every year, La Rosière continues its development in a sustainable manner, welcoming new lodging options, restaurants, and activity providers, all with a commitment to preserving our environment and delivering high-quality experiences to vacationers.

Two New Residences:

The Lodge of Glaciers

After a lightning-fast 7-month construction project, Altitude Résidences opens the Lodge of Glaciers in December 2023. Located in the heart of the resort, just 100 meters from the town center’s snow front, and with ski-in/ski-out access guaranteed, this residence houses 11 apartments accommodating 4 to 18 people, with a total capacity of 114 beds. Combining traditional and modern materials, these accommodations aim for a 4-star rating, offering a high-end experience with services like grocery delivery and in-home massages. Prices start at €2600 per week.

The Club Med Exclusive Collection

Opened in 2021, La Rosière’s Club Med 4-Tridents offers 918 beds. At the start of the winter season, the Club will inaugurate its Exclusive Collection 5-Tridents extension, adding 43 suite-apartments, providing an additional 150 beds. The interior design of these upscale suites draws inspiration from the artisanal traditions of the La Thuile region in Val d’Aosta, where a lace-making tradition has existed since the 17th century. Vacationers can enjoy a unique experience with the Exclusive Collection, including a dedicated team, concierge service, assistance with resort bookings, a specific Welcome Lounge with bar service and snacks, and champagne from 6 pm. Room service breakfast and an exclusive ski room overlooking the slopes are also available.

Satisfy Your Taste Buds:

Le Terroir des Vignobles

Founded by Judith and Alexandre, local residents who gained experience at Courchevel’s Chabichou, Le Terroir des Vignobles is located on the first floor of the Valaisan shopping center in the resort center. Already recognized by Gault&Millau, they offer refined, bistro-style cuisine made from local products, prepared with passion and expertise. The restaurant also features a wine bar and a cellar where you can purchase bottles from the restaurant’s menu.

SkiSet – Olympic Sports & Café

With 17 years of experience in the resort, Marc Pirard, a former coach of the French ski teams, opens “Olympic Sports & Café” on the snow front in the town center. The 280m2 space offers rental services and the sale of equipment, a fast “wax-sharpen” workshop, and ski storage, all provided by a team of passionate experts and talented boot fitters using the latest equipment. The “Café” aspect adds a unique touch, aiming to make this place a true hub for socializing, meetings, and interactions. Throughout the day, customers can enjoy locally sourced and homemade fast food. The season will be filled with events, including free ski tests every week, film screenings, themed evenings, and après-ski with live music. Every week, in partnership with the ESF off-piste center, vacationers can get information on off-piste conditions and safety measures.

Services:

The Dahu T-bar Becomes a 4-Person Chairlift

The Dahu T-bar is now a 4-person chairlift with an upper arrival point and a higher capacity than the previous equipment. This means even more space for beginner skiers in La Rosière, especially in the Eucherts sector. The new Dahu chairlift provides access to two green slopes (Dahu and Cabri) and two blue slopes (Gelinotte and Marmottons). It also allows skiers to reach the Plan du Repos chairlift and access the entire San Bernardo area. Good to know: the starting station is equipped with public toilets.

New Picnic Area for Gatherings on the Slopes

Wondering where to picnic on the slopes of La Rosière? There’s no need to worry thanks to this new meeting point! It’s a covered relaxation area with electric grills, sun loungers, and picnic tables for family or friends to enjoy a shared moment. Access: at the top of the Lièvre Blanc T-bar, near PARADiS!
