In La Rosière, it is possible to discover climbing and via ferrata in complete safety. Indeed, you can introduce the youngest to climbing thanks to the climbing rock located at Plan de l’Arc. About 2,50m high, it allows you to stay behind your child to ensure him/her. Of course, we have thought of securing this space with foam mats.
For the more experienced climbers, it is between the Châtelard and the Villaret that you should go. 16 climbing routes from level 4A to level 6A are equipped on the Versondane climbing rock. The guidebook is available in the Tourist Offices.
For even more sensations linked to the void, we advise you to try the Via Ferrata or the Via Cordata. To do this, you will have to go to the Vallon du Crôt, in Val d’Isère or in Peisey Nancroix. However, for a discovery, we strongly advise you to be supervised by professionals such as Bureau Montagne Haute Tarentaise. These professionals will be able to give you all the advice you need to enjoy yourself on the one hand, and to want to try again on the other. Thanks to them you will see that a little expert advice will cost you a lot less effort, or fear.
Via ferrata and Via Cordata are also an opportunity to discover on foot some of the trails to come back to. But in the end, the best thing you’ll discover is your mind when you’re clinging to the wall!
In order to practice climbing in all weathers, summer and winter, La Rosière has an indoor climbing wall. Located in the Jean Arpin hall, it offers 5 anchors, 2 of which have automatic belays. In the end, thanks to the diversity of the holds, 15 routes are at your disposal under the supervision of the La Rosière Tarentaise Mountain Office! Young and old alike will find something to enjoy in complete safety and under the benevolent eye of climbing professionals.
