The San Bernardo ski area has linked La Rosière with La Thuile (Italy) since 1984, ans is the only Franco-Italian ski area in the Northern Alps. Cross over the border on skis to discover new views and another culture, so close and yet so different.

The ski resort of the “ESpace San Bernardo” caters for all abilities:

  • Beginner level

You can start skiing or snowboarding in a gradual way thanks to the green slopes on the snow fronts of La Rosière Centre and the Eucherts area. Magic carpets and dedicated beginner ski lifts are easily accessible whether you’re with a ski lesson or not.

  • Intermediary level

The wide and sunny blue pistes of La Rosière, allow you to consolidate your core skills and really enjoy yourself. Modern and comfortable chairlifts are found throughout the ski area and enable you to reach the summit of the Fort where you can admire the magnificent view of the Mont-Blanc massif.

  • Advanced level

Red pistes are on hand for the thrills and they are spread out around the resort on both the French and Italian side. This piste will take you to Ecudets and you’ll appreciate the rest after effectively descending 1140m.

  • Expert level

Black pistes are made for you… and you won’t be disappointed. Head over to Italy and try the slope number 4, named “la François Berthod”. This ski slope regularly welcomes stages of both the ski and telemark world cup.
