Mont Valaisan area

IN 2018, THE LA ROSIÈRE – SAN BERNARDO SKI AREA OPENED A NEW SECTOR : LE MONT VALAISAN

The La Rosière – Espace San Bernardo ski area is exceptional for its sunshine, its snowfall, it’s link with Italy and the quality of customer hospitality; that everyone picks up on. But because we want to always offer more to our clients, we opened the new Mont Valaisan sector in December 2018.

As well as the gentle and sunny pistes on the La Rosière facing side, here are 6 new red and 1 new black pistes on the Mont Valaisan sector which have opened, allowing us to reach a new altitude point of 2800m.

In terms of what we can offer the most advanced  skiers, this new addition completes the package with north facing slopes on the Aosta Valley side. Located still within the French side of the area, to the right of the Fort de la Redoute Ruinée, this investment of 15 million euros has given birth to 6 new red pistes and 1 new black slope, catered by two 6 person chairlifts: Moulins and Mont Valaisan. You’ll be able to check out here the more technical skiing and new freeride possibilities.

The new highest point of the ski area is now in France at an altitude of 2800m with a view over Mont Blanc and the Mont Pourri!
