One of these initiatives is to promote starting your ski day from Les Écudets, a strategic access point located below the resort, just a 7-minute drive from Séez.
Reducing transport impact without changing the pleasure of skiing
Located in the valley, close to Séez, Les Écudets provide direct access to the La Rosière ski area without having to drive all the way up to the resort centre. This practical option is ideal for day skiers, helping to avoid the uphill drive and offering a smoother arrival on the slopes.
By choosing this access point, traffic on the mountain road is reduced, transport-related emissions are limited and the overall skiing experience is improved, especially during busy periods.

Adjusted lift opening times
To make your ski day even smoother, the Les Écudets chairlift opening times have been adjusted:

Closes at 4:15 pm when the Fontaine Froide slope is open

Closes at 5:00 pm (last descent) when the Fontaine Froide slope is closed
These adjusted times make it easier to plan a full day of skiing in the La Rosière – Espace San Bernardo ski area.
