A freeride competition in the heart of the ski area

Located in the Espace San Bernardo ski area, the North Face of the Fort offers a natural terrain perfectly suited for freeride competitions. Steep slopes, technical lines and natural features create a spectacular playground for riders.

During this Freeride World Qualifier event, skiers and snowboarders must choose their lines carefully, combining technique, creativity and fluidity while adapting to high-mountain snow conditions.

For spectators, this is a great opportunity to watch a freeride competition in one of the ski resorts of the Northern French Alps, surrounded by an exceptional alpine environment.

Where to watch the competition

A spectator area is accessible on skis at the bottom of the Bellecombe 2 drag lift, offering a clear view of the riders’ descents.

Access is possible with a La Rosière lift pass or an Espace San Bernardo ski pass.

From La Rosière Centre snow front

  • take the Roches Noires chairlift
  • then the Fort chairlift

From Les Eucherts snow front

  • take the Eucherts chairlift
  • then the Plan du Repos chairlift
  • then the Fort chairlift

From there:

  • ski down the Bouquetin red slope, which arrives at the bottom of the Chardonnet chairlift
  • continue towards the Bellecombe 1 drag lift

It is also possible to take the Chardonnet chairlift downhill. The spectator area is located near the Bellecombe 2 drag lift.
