About
Freeriding is part of La Rosière's DNA. Come and admire the best freeriders of the moment as they challenge the North Face of Fort, in pursuit of their ticket to the Freeride World Tour.
The spectator area is located at the bottom of the Bellecombe 1 ski lift. Access is possible with a La Rosière ski pass or an Espace San Bernardo ski pass:
- from the centre snow front, take the Roches Noires chairlift, then the Fort chairlift, followed by the red Bouquetin slope that leads to the bottom of the Chardonnet lift, and continue to the departure point of the Bellecombe 1 ski lift (you can also take the Chardonnet chairlift downhill)
- from the Eucherts snow front, take the Eucherts chairlift, then the Plan du Repos chairlift, followed by the Fort chairlift.

- From La Rosière, take the Roches Noires Express chairlift to the 'Roc Noir' lookout point (at an altitude of 2,346m).
Le Roc Noir is an ideal picnic spot, boasting a panoramic map and breathtaking views of the surrounding area. From the Roc Noir, take the path that leads to the Traversette pass: it is an easy 40-minute walk (one way).
From the Fort, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view over the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass and the Mont-Blanc massif.
