A Magical Christmas

Discover the magic of Christmas in a winter wonderland, in the heart of La Rosière's Forest.
In view of the current health context, the programme remains provisional and will be subject to current government obligations. Of course, we will do our utmost to welcome you in the best possible conditions.

Programme:
SUNDAY 19TH:
• 9:30am - 5pm: Wooden games: The games are free to use and are set up in front of the Tourist Office in the Resort Centre and in the Eucherts neighborhood. Step away from your tablets and digital devices and rediscover the region’s traditional wooden games!
• 10am – 6pm: The Christmas forest: Step into our winter wonderland for some festive fun! Christmas wish tree, Father Christmas’ letter box, photocall, tree decorating and plenty of other surprises!
• 5pm: Starlight stroll : guided evening walk. Perched at an altitude of 1,800 metres, just a few short kilometres from the Italian border, La Rosière invites you on a torchlight walk to discover how the resort has developed over the years.

MONDAY 20TH:
• 9:30am - 5pm: Wooden games: The games are free to use and are set up in front of the Tourist Office in the Resort Centre and in the Eucherts neighborhood. Step away from your tablets and digital devices and rediscover the region’s traditional wooden games!
• 10am – 6pm: The Christmas forest: Step into our winter wonderland for some festive fun! Christmas wish tree, Father Christmas’ letter box, photocall, tree decorating and plenty of other surprises!
• 2pm - 5pm: Participatory activity: "frosted treasure hunt". Try your hand at ice sculpture! Equipped with an ice pick, the children will have to find a gold coin in the block of ice.
• 2pm - 5pm: Disc Golf Activity: Come test your address and discover this discipline straight from the United States and Australia!
Do you know how to throw a Frisbee? You know the principle of a golf course? Then there is no doubt you will know how to play Disc Golf...
• 4:30pm – 5:30pm: Snowrun: La Rosière invites you on a stunning twilight jog around the resort, to admire the sun setting over the snow-covered Tarentaise Valley.

TUESDAY 21ST:
• 9:30am - 5pm: The games are free to use and are set up in front of the Tourist Office in the Resort Centre and in the Eucherts neighborhood. Step away from your tablets and digital devices and rediscover the region’s traditional wooden games!
• 10am – 6pm: The Christmas forest: Step into our winter wonderland for some festive fun! Christmas wish tree, Father Christmas’ letter box, photocall, tree decorating and plenty of other surprises!
• 10:30am: Guided walk : La Rosière at dusk. Evolving from a small high altitude village to an extensive cross-border ski area, La Rosière boasts 60 years of history that you can discover on this magical stroll!
• 2pm – 4pm: Sledge race: Test your sledging skills in this battle to 4. A specially-created sledging area located near Les Galopins Kindergarten in the centre of the resort.
• 2:30pm – 6pm: Arctic village: Discover the icy world of an Arctic village, complete with tipis and huskies, a fairytale brought to life!
• 2:30pm – 6pm: Violin music and storytelling: Immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit with this musical Christmas tale (told in French), performed along the forest footpath and into the Christmas forest.

WEDNESDAY 22ND:
• 9:30am - 5pm: Wooden games: The games are free to use and are set up in front of the Tourist Office in the Resort Centre and in the Eucherts neighborhood. Step away from your tablets and digital devices and rediscover the region’s traditional wooden games!
• 10am – 6pm: Step into our winter wonderland for some festive fun! Christmas wish tree, Father Christmas’ letter box, photocall, tree decorating and plenty of other surprises!
• 10am – 11am: Snowrun: La Rosière invites you on a stunning jog around the resort. It’s a unique opportunity to practice your daily sport with a panorama to take your breath away.
• 2pm -3pm : Snowman-making contest: Showcase your sculpting talents as you attempt to create the best snowman ever made! Plenty of prizes up for grabs!
• 2pm – 4:30pm : Ice sculpture
Come and watch our talented ice sculptor at work ! Two scultures will be made, one at 2pm and another at 3:30pm. Venue :Place des Eucherts

THURSDAY 23RD:
• 9:30am - 5pm: Wooden games: The games are free to use and are set up in front of the Tourist Office in the Resort Centre and in the Eucherts neighborhood. Step away from your tablets and digital devices and rediscover the region’s traditional wooden games!
• 9:30am – 12am: A mountain trapper soul reveals itself in you. As a team, you will build an igloo, your little warm place that you can make discover to your loved ones throughout the week. Limited number of participants : please book in advance
• 10am – 6pm: The Christmas forest: Step into our winter wonderland for some festive fun! Christmas wish tree, Father Christmas’ letter box, photocall, tree decorating and plenty of other surprises!
• 2pm – 4:30pm: A mountain trapper soul reveals itself in you. As a team, you will build an igloo, your little warm place that you can make discover to your loved ones throughout the week. Limited number of participants: please book in advance
• 3am – 4am: Father Christmas comes to the resort: Can you guess how he’ll travel from Lapland to the bottom of the slopes? The surprise arrival of Santa Claus: a stroll of Santa with his frosted elves in the resort. So be on the lookout.

FRIDAY 24TH:
• 9:30am - 5pm: Wooden games: The games are free to use and are set up in front of the Tourist Office in the Resort Centre and in the Eucherts. Step away from your tablets and digital devices and rediscover the region’s traditional wooden games!
• 10am – 6pm: The Christmas forest: Step into our winter wonderland for some festive fun! Christmas wish tree, Father Christmas’ letter box, photocall, tree decorating and plenty of other surprises!
• 2pm - 4:30pm: Santa’s carriage stops at La Rosière for the happiness of children and adults! Father Christmas will ride through La Rosière in his sleigh, to bid farewell to the children before heading home to Lapland!
