CULTURAL HERITAGE IN THE HAUTE-TARENTAISE

La Rosière and the Haute-Tarentaise Valley offer a wealth of cultural and historical heritage. Join one of the many guided tours available and let yourself be swept away on a wave of history and culture. The Petit Saint-Bernard pass, which has always been a key passageway for men and merchandise, is a great place to start. In summer, you can drive through the pass into Italy. In winter, you can ski across the border in the Espace San Bernardo ski area!

Once you go through the pass, you will cross over into Italy’s Aosta Valley. The city of Aosta is steeped in history, with plenty of Roman heritage to discover, such as the Roman theatre, forum, Arch of Augustus, and more.
