Learning to ski
Nursery slopes so you can learn to ski in safety
Putting on skis for the very first time can be quite daunting, so here in La Rosière we have four free ski lifts (Clarines 1, Dahu and Manessier drag lifts; Lutins magic carpet) so that beginners can learn to ski at their own pace on dedicated nursery slopes.
The Lutins magic carpet gently transports tiny tots to the top of a green slope so that they can get a feel for gliding on snow. Children can take the magic carpet with their family or on their own, under the watchful eye of a parent of grandparent!.
Once they have mastered the green slope, they can progress on Dahu and Cabri green slopes using the Dahu lift for free.
Get into freestyle at an early age!
With its ground-level features (20cm high), the Petit Saint Bernard Mini Snowpark is an ideal place for budding young freestylers to perfect their tricks in a safe environment. With their parents or accompanied by a qualified instructor, young freestylers can tackle the features and develop their agility as they have fun…and potentially go on to become freestyling champions!
Petit-Saint-Bernard adventure slope
It’s what all the kids are talking about in La Rosière! Head up the Lièvre Blanc drag lift then follow the resort mascot, the Petit St Bernard dog, back down the slopes! With a host of different features, the green slope through the forest has been transformed into a fun and educational adventure area for budding young skiers…and older ones too!
