Mix things up during your holiday
A mountain of activities
A skiing holiday does not have to mean just skiing or snowboarding: you can also take advantage of all of the other activities and facilities that La Rosière has to offer. We have something for everyone!
Le Paret: A traditional sledge
Admire the sunset as you race down the mountain on a paret, a small wooden sledge with just one blade, then enjoy a free glass of mulled wine at the bottom! The number of rides and places are limited; please book in advance. Activity supervised by an instructor.
Snowshoeing: A different way to explore
Set off on a snowshoe expedition along the Petit Trappeur trail. The trail starts in the middle of the forest footpath and follows a marked path up through the forest. Fun, safe and highly original, this activity is great for both adults and children, who will adore searching for animal tracks as they march along. Maps of La Rosière’s footpaths are available from the Tourist Office.
If you want to go further afield, join one of the snowshoe walks organised by the resort’s professionals. In small groups, they will take you off to explore La Rosière and its villages as you have never seen them before! There are snowshoe walks to suit all fitness levels, allowing you to explore the mountain at a more sedate pace.
Ice rink: Get your skates on!
Come for a spin around La Rosière’s ice rink, which is located in Les Eucherts. We have various different sessions for different ages and levels of skater: free skating, ice skating lessons, ice hockey tasters and special lessons for children aged 4 to 9.
Ice hockey matches: Come and show your support!
The ice rink is the place to be on a Wednesday evening! Come and cheer on Les Tigres Blancs, La Rosière’s ice hockey club.
Bowling alley: Knock down those skittles!
Continue the day’s fun with an afternoon or evening at the bowling alley (suitable for ages 4 and over). Strikes, spares, and plenty of laughs guaranteed!
Cinema: Go to the movies!
Located in the Terrasses shopping centre, the cinema has two screens showing all the latest films (screenings at 6pm and 9pm, with an additional screening at 3pm in the event of bad weather).
Mushing: Make like an Arctic explorer!
Take a magical ride on a dog sled, or learn to drive a team of dogs yourself!
