Enter our uphill cycling race from Séez to La Rosière every Friday evening. Summon up all of your pedalling power and try to beat your previous time!

The Trail des Moulins has become the Trail de La Rosière, a trail running race organised in the picturesque Haute-Tarentaise valley, neighbouring the Mont Blanc massif. There are four different courses to choose from: 40km – 22km – 15km or 5km.

  • 8th Arts des Cimes Festival – from 25th to 27th July 2018

Drama, circus skills, street art, dancing and painting: this festival gives the arts centre stage with a magnificent Alpine backdrop! All of the performances are free of charge.

  • Wellness Days – from 30th July to 3nd August 2018

Four days of wellness, during which you can sample a variety of treatments and activities led by osteopaths, herbalists, naturopaths and other wellness experts. You can also try yoga or Nordic walking and learn about Alpine plants. Let yourself be swept away on a tide of wellbeing!

The Saint Bernard dog, La Rosière’s mascot, will be honoured during this special event in August! Entertainment, souvenir photos and a breeding contest are all in store.

  • 17th Vent d’Est Festival – from 13th to 18th August 2018

An invitation to discover Russian traditions. A wide variety of talented Russian artists travel to La Rosière to demonstrate their art, with musicians, singers and dancers taking top billing.


  • La Rosière Bike Week –  August 2018

A whole week dedicated to the various cycling disciplines: downhill MTB, electric mountain biking, Fat Biking and road cycling. A fantastic pedal-powered celebration you won’t want to miss!


  • Fête des Bergers – 19th August 2018

A traditional fête held on the border between France and Italy, bringing together Valdôtains (from the Aosta Valley, Italy) and Tarins (from the Tarentaise Valley, France). On the schedule: cow fighting, market for local produce, musical entertainment and sheepdog demonstrations.
