Mountain bike

ARE YOU ROLLING?

La Rosière offers all sorts of routes for young and old alike, from beginners to experienced downhillers.

Like alpine skiing in winter, mountain biking is practised on tracks organised by level, the easiest being the blue, to the most technical, the black.

The Roches Noires chairlift will allow you to access all these runs. You will be able to admire the unique panorama of the Haute Tarentaise balconies, the charm of the many villages of La Rosière, without forgetting the emblematic forest of Les Ecudets. It is possible to practice this discipline alone with your own equipment, or with rented equipment. You can also discover this activity or improve your skills thanks to the teaching and advice of qualified instructors from the mountain bike schools based in the resort.

If it was common to hear that cross-country mountain biking was an elitist practice, today the discovery of off-road itineraries is open to all thanks to the evolution of the equipment and the appearance of electrically assisted mountain bikes. Indeed, what used to be reserved for experienced mountain bikers is now accessible and offers the possibility of sharing this discovery even with different levels. So whether you’re an experienced rider or just an occasional cyclist, there’s no excuse not to discover the wealth of trails in La Rosière, go to the mountain bike hire shops in La Rosière.

To hire a mountain bike

Most of the sports shops in La Rosière offer mountain bikes for hire, we invite you to ask at Olympic Sports, Arpin Sport-Sport 2000, Skimium and Intersport.
